Sync problem between iOS app and mac desktop player vice versa

I want that when I listen on the Spotify desktop app (Mac OS) that my iphone (SE) app remembers where I left off listening. And vice versa, even if I have listened via the iphone app, I want the desktop app to continue where I left off. But he does not. How do you do that?

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps. I'd also recommend upgrading to iOS 12.0.1 and macOS Mojave 10.14 in the respective devices 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I reinstall Spotify on my Iphone and also on my Mac, but still the same problem. It's only syncing when I open the Mac App and also the iPhone app. But not individually from each other. And that should be, as with a podcast app for example.
