can't edit a collaborative playlist

My Question or Issue

A friend sent me a collaborative list from his Android phone. When I open the link he sent me it opens on my Spotify app on my iphone but I can't add songs. It only has "preview". We both use the free version. From what I read it seems that it should work and I should be able to add songs to the playlist. Am I missing something? Thanks

Hey @galileo88,

If it's the first time you're using collaborative playlists, you might not know that you have to be following it to be able to add it.

As soon as you're following it, you should be able to add tracks to it as you do with any other playlist 🙂

Rather obvious next question - how do you follow a playlist when you have the link?
