Plan

Premium

Country

USA

Device

iPhone SE

Operating System

iOS 12.0.1

My Question or Issue

I have a JBL bluetooth speaker I use in the bathroom and an Echo Dot in my bedroom. When I'm playing music on the JBL and then turn the speaker off and try to connect to the Echo dot on the app, it just says "connecting..." and doesn't connect, even if I restart the app or toggle airplane mode. However, if I pause the music before turning off the JBL, I can subsequently connect to the Echo without issues. This happens consistently. I believe it's been like this ever since I got my Echo a few months ago.
