Sudden equalizer

I was listening to music when a sudden equalizer appeared on spotify. Now my music is really messed up and i tried the triangle part but that didnt work (for me). Can anybody help me??

Have you tried logging out, restarting your device and then logging back in again?

If that doesn't work, then I would suggest you try a clean reinstallation of the client, but you will need to resync any offline content you have.

Well if you have the old version, you need to draw a triangle or a small letter "e" on the screen that shows the album cover and artist name while in the midst of playing the current song.

If however, you made the FATAL ERROR I made of "upgrading" Spotify to the new version in March.....the equalizer has been completely removed.
