Listen on Restrictive app mode

Hello, we have the spotify premium family plan. My son's iphone has some restrictive apps on it. However I want to unrestrict spotify so that he can listen to it. I realize that I can unrestrict apps that are 12+ and spotify will be unrestricted. However is there another way around this? I want only spotify to be unrestricted and not ALL his apps that are 12+. Thanks

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

I tried the 12+ restriction but Spotify is not locked when the 12+ restricion is enabled, maybe because I have the Beta version installed.

I'd also recommend checking this support article from Apple to find out more.

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
