Filtering field doesn't display search terms

When use the drop-down filter in my "Songs" section, the search field often doesn't display what I'm typing. So, if I make a typo (always) I have no idea how wrong I am and my search comes up empty. The example provided depicts a successful filter while the field remains empty.

This doesn't appear to happen when filtering playlists.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

I'd also recommend updating to iOS 12.1.4 and trying without a third party keyboard app to see if that helps 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?

I'll see what I can suggest next!

For one reason or another, I can't seem to replicate the issue. It was happening for about a week beforehand and sustained through hard resets, app force closures, and a 12.1.4 iOS update. So, I think it was the app update on 2-21. Good thinking on the 3rd party keyboard, though!
