Adding Local Files To iPhone

I've been trying to add my local files to my iPhone however, none of the ways I've seen have worked. I have it in a playlist and I've downloaded it both on my phone and desktop but nothing appears on the playlist in my phone. For some reason my phones shows how many songs are in the playlist but when I go inside it all it says is to add songs rather than greyed out ones I would've expected. I've done it when they are both connected to my wifi and when my desktop is connected to my phones hotspot but it still doesnt work.

Does anyone have an idea?

Hi! The local files functionality can be a little tricky. I just had this issue earlier today and the files did not appear until I restarted the app on my phone. Also, you might try playing the song from your computer and the switching playback to your phone via the "devices" menu.
