Is Spotify mobile development DEAD?

So depressing... Spotify mobile development is going down the crapper, meanwhile Rdio pushed out 3 mobile updates in the same month!

I know a mobile update is coming in early 2013, but it probably won't bring much... hopefully I'm wrong

What needs to be done:

1. Fix cache issues

2. Fix slow sync

3. Take full advantage of new bigger iPhone 5 and iPod touch display and make the UI much nicer! (currently behind with lame letterboxing of album art, add controls or something to take up full space)

4. Bring back ability to rearrange track in playlists (Spotify iOS dev promised this is coming back in early 2013, but who knows?)

I agree. I feel the Spotify mobile app needs a new redesign. Rdio's UI is extremely attractive. I think Spotify needs to find a way to make it less clumsy to add and organize playlists on the PC. And have a way to drag them in mobile (i like everything in alphabetical order) I hate having to drag all of my playlist. I just left Rdio after a month of use because it was a bit slow. But will go back if Spotify doesn't have a decent update.
