Apple watch control grayed out

My Question or Issue

Sonce Apples lates update I can’t use Spotify on my Apple Watch. I can see the app but it’s all grayed out and I can’t control anything.

Any ideas on how to solve the problem?

I have the same issue, iPhone XS Max on 12.2 Apple Watch 4 on 5.2.

App launched even on Watch but greyed out

At devices page it says Connect to device, but that’s greyed out too
