Repeat always on

So everytime I go to click on a recently new released song and play that song. There may be only one track. Then it repeats itself after it has played. Sometimes, I do this at a red light while in my car. The "repeat" button defaults to "repeat track". Is there a way to not have this at default. Cause usually I am driving and I can't go switch it and I listen to the same song twice. Mild inconvience but an inconvience.

I would love to just be able to play maybe a single track from the new release section and when that track is finish. Spotify would play similar songs from that genre. I have that setting clicked in the settings section but it is always defaulted to "repeat".

On a side note, I would love for Spotify to have more customizable user settings. Thanks.

Just a few follow-up questions:

Could you let us know if this happens only with albums that contain one song, like the ones you mentioned?
When you toggle off the repeat function and selecting another song, does it toggle back on automatically?
When you're in your car, are you connected to an in-car infotainment system via Bluetooth when this happens?
