Random pausing and skipping of music

My Question or Issue: when listening to music story randomly will pause or skip a song without me selecting anything. I have tried deleting and reinstalling, logging out of all Spotify accounts, setting a new password, etc. i would greatly appreciate your help becuse this is getting annoying.

Hey @sheilaekearney thanks for reaching out to the Spotify Community,

I would actually recommend doing a clean reinstall on your device. It might also be beneficial if you can restart your device, although it sounds simple, it can help from time to time.

Finally, if none of those work try clearing your cache and data by following these steps:

Step 1: Head to the Settings menu.
Step 2: Find Apps (or Applications, depending on your device) in the menu, then locate the app that you want to clear the cache or data for.
Step 3: Tap on Storage and the buttons for clearing the cache and app data will become available.

Thank for suggestion. However, i do not have an android. I have a iPhone 6.

Hey @sheilaekearney so sorry,

I assumed this was android, for this I would ask you to follow these steps and let me know:

Tap Settings > General > Storage & iCloud Usage.
In the top section (Storage), tap Manage Storage.
Select Spotify.
Take a look at the entry for Documents & Data. ...
Tap Delete App, then head to the App Store to re-download Spotify.
