Bug in Spotify IOS app

There is an Israeli news app called “Calcalist” by Yedioth Internet, mostly used to read news pieces. When I'm listening to spotify app and open the news app, after a few seconds the music stops! Im using iphoneX latest IOS. Hope you’ll fix this soon

That's odd. Could you try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app? If that doesn't help, could you also try to reinstall the news app?

Yes , issue appears with recent update as well .
Didn't experience it with other apps(at least the apps I have on my phone)
, what I know is that it doesn't happen with web based apps... just this 1
native app .
A common feature with apps that contains video and music is that the song
pauses once you are playing music/video in another app ..
So maybe the fact that this specific news app contains video clips (which
aren't played automatically anyway) causes Spotify to stop playing..
its just a theory .. I don't know .. 🙂
