Spotify App Super Slow for iOS

My Question or Issue

My spotify app has been (occasionally) super laggy since few weeks ago. At first it was just problem loading some playlists, but now it just takes forever to do anything when it happens. I tried everything (restart, reinstall, change network, except for relogging in; it was too slow to even really log out the app) and nothing worked; meanwhile my desktop app always works perfectly. It is super annoying even it may only occur for one hour per day. Is it some known bug or I'm doing something wrong?

I see that you have an iPhone 8. Could you let me know your iOS version of that device? You can check by going to Settings > General > About > Version.

Hey @landefactor,

Thanks for getting back to me.

The latest iOS version is iOS 12.4.1. I'd recommend updating your software by going to Settings > General > Software Update.

If you still encounter issues after this software update, please let me know if:

The app is slow at random times
You have earphones in when this happens
Have you tried a different device and does everything work fine there
