[iOS] Accessibility for the blind-low vision broken

The latest version of Spotify has made people who use Voiceover (either on an IPhone or IPad) can no longer read descriptions of any playlists, which was something that was working before. For those with low/no vision it makes navigation unnecessarily difficult.

As mentioned the feature worked before. The version in question is 8.5.30.635. If this could be fixed it would be greatly appreciated. For many, voiceover is how they navigate your app. Thank you.

Hi there!

I know it sounds simple, but it's often overlooked. Could you try restarting your device? If that doesn't help, try a quick clean reinstall of the app. Just follow these steps.

I'd also suggest updating to iOS 13.2.3 🙂

If you're still having trouble, could you let me know the exact version of Spotify and the exact version of the operating system you're running?
