My Question or Issue

The +save button has disappeared from the app on my iPhone. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app. I have logged out and logged back in. None of it has worked. I only have around 1,00 songs so I have not hit the song limit. The weird thing is that I CAN save songs using the Spotify app on my MacBook. But why can’t I save songs on the app on my iPhone and where did the +save button go???

The "save" button became the "like" button. It is still the first option on the menu. You can add/download songs to your library by clicking "like".

Hope you are doing great!

At Spotify, possible improvements and new features are often being tested. This means you might see something on the app your friend doesn't, or get a brand new feature for only a temporary period.

Things tested could include the next generation of security protection, or new ways to listen. It's also a way for Spotify to introduce new features, and fine-tune the app to be compatible with specific devices.

Instead of the + sign you will be getting a ♥︎ sign to save songs. It's a change to be more in line with the Free Tier.

If you don't like this change I’d suggest starting a new thread in the Community Ideas Exchange.

This’ll allow users, Stars, and Moderators to vote and comment on it.
