Do I really have to disengage the shuffle function every time I use the app. I will not last a month with this nonsense. Terrible design

As your version type isn't mentioned, the Free version of Spotify can only be played shuffled.

However, if you're using the Premium version of the app, When opening the app, it should remember if your last playing action was with shuffle or not.

I recommend you try and reinstall the app is it tends to solve this type of issues.

Meanwhile Spotify Free listeners in India can easily play without shuffle. I'm just saying...
