[iOS] Double click to expand

Using mac os catalina on macbook. Most other apps have a task bar at the top that you can double click and the window of the app will expand to fit the entire screen, due to the lack of taskbar, this is not possible with the spotify app. The expand toggle in the bottom right, and the green expand button on the top left of all mac windows opens the app in full screen mode only. I'm looking for expanding to fit the window without full screen mode.

Thank you for submitting this idea, we'll just need a bit more info to understand it first before we give it the proper status.

It would be helpful if you could add some additional details or screenshots of what you'd like to see exactly in the app.

For example, would you like to be able double click in this part of the app:

Keep in mind that if you get this pop up menu, selecting "Enter Full Screen" should fit the app's window to your screen.

There's also a different sort of option to enter Full screen mode and see only the Now Playing view, by clicking the arrow button here:

Right, the two solutions you mention before are for full screen mode, which is different than fitting the app to the screen. Full screen mode hides the top mac os taskbar and application tray. Either way, it doesn't matter because it looks like in your latest update the issue has been fixed anyways! Woot!

Now you can double click on the top of the Spotify app (right of search bar in screenshot) and it will expand to just fit the screen window.
