My Question or Issue

Spotify Connect is only available (e.g. on my iPhone and Macbook) if the Spotify App is manually opened on the Apple TV.

So my request for the next update: Please make is possible to run the Spotify App on the Apple TV in the Background. So I can choose Spotify Connect even when the Apple TV is in standby. Even Apple Music can do this!

If you'd like to present your feedback regarding the Connect feature and Apple TV, make sure to follow these steps:

Go to the Spotify Community
Click on Menu
Click on Ideas > Idea submissions
Scroll all the way to the bottom and click on Let’s go
