Inappropriate Homepage Recommendations

My Question or Issue: I am trying to change the pinned recommendations from my Spotify homepage. For numerous days now I have received the recommendation for Joe Budden's podcast right when I open the app and nothing I do makes it go away. I am definitely not interested in this content, especially with his track record of homophobia and promoting violence against Trans women. Specifically, during this time, I truly think it is irresponsible to put such content at the forefront with claims of supporting the Black community.

Regardless of my feelings about this specific content, the suggestion content takes up 1/3 of my own homepage, every day. I have blocked the Artist on Spotify and it still remains. There should be a way to change the content that takes up most of your home screen, especially if that content is harmful to others.

If the recommendation of Joe Budden's Podcast is because of the music I listen to, I have no idea what kind of music I should avoid to not get this Podcast as a recommendation.

I completely understand your frustration and I think this must be implemented way earlier, but unfortunately at the time of writing, there is no way to remove podcast recommendations from your Spotify home screen.

But, we always take ideas and feedback in consideration to improve the app.

We're doing this by watching and discussing ideas, take a look at this topic.

Since this is an idea related to the idea of barttholomews I suggest you to +VOTE and REPLY at the idea, so that it'll be more likely to get implemented.

You can also subscribe (via the 3 dots in the right upper corner) to the idea to get further updates in your mailbox.
