My Question or Issue

Apples new iOS14 Beta is out and everything in Apple CarPlay seems to be working fine, except Spotify. All playlists etc. work but when I press play nothing happens. The device looses connection and I must reconnect it (via cable).

Maybe this is not on your end, but I thought maybe you should know about it 🙂

Hey @stroessel, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

When it comes to beta software, keep in mind that it is not a final version and you may run into some unexpected behavior. I'd recommend for you to report it using Feedback Assistant and revert to a public release of the software.

You can also try a clean reinstall of the app, but if it doesn't help - then Spotify can't guarantee full support on beta software versions.

I am not looking to solve this problem, it was just input to the Spotify-team if they want to look into it. I am sure that they want their software to be working on Apple Carplay in the future.
