I've never had issues syncing local files from my laptop to my phone before but recently I've only been able to play them on my laptop. I've done every method mentioned in the forums by both Spotify users and admin (enable sync, show downloads, connect to the same wifi network, delete and redownload apps on both devices, download playlist with local files songs in them, make sure the files are MP3s, etc.) and I've still had no luck with porting the files over to my phone.
