when I tell Alexa to play Spotify instead of picking up where it left off it’s starts playing ‘United states top 50’...5his just started yesterday.

Could you try restarting your Alexa device? You can also simply unplug and plug in your device.

If that doesn’t work, let me know what Alexa device model you have exactly and when this started happening so I can take a closer look.

I tried unplugging/plugging my echo earlier today thinking that could be the problem...i even tried rebooting my iPad....it didn’t work...this started a couple of days ago...usually ‘Alexa play Spotify’ would cause it to start playing exactly where it stopped...now it starts playing ‘United states top 50’ every time...I have to manually select another playlist...it’s annoying as heck.

Hey @Craigb06,

Can you try signing in with another account - such as a family member's or a friend's account to see if the issue persists?

Also, let me know if this happens when you use the app on a different network connection.
