Hi there @LivingLikeTom,

Welcome to the Community!

In this situation we'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app on all your devices, which involves deleting the app data to assure that this issue is not caused by that. Follow the steps in this guide to do that.

After that we'd suggest checking whether your Google Home device is running the latest firmware. If that's the case try a factory reset of the speaker, after which you'll have to resync your info.

Hope this helps. Let us know how it goes.

Whenever I try to play music on my google home it automatically skips as many songs as it can until it gets to ads. After the ads are over it plays 10 seconds of a song then stops. However on the app it says it’s still playing on there. And the google responds if I ask it something. Just started 3 days ago. Usually plays normally.

Plan

Free

Country

US

Device

iPhone

ios 14
