Time Counter Frozen on Podcasts While Playing

The time counter freezes when playing podcasts. Also, often I listen to the same podcast over multiple car rides and when I go to pick up where I left off, the podcast starts from the beginning. With these 2 issues combined, its a terrible experience compared to iMusic. I can't skip ahead to where I left off because the Time Counter wasn't working so I have no idea how far into the podcast I was when I paused it.

Can you give us a bit more info on your setup? Are you using Spotify directly from your phone or from the car onboard system?

The app should keep your progress on the most recent episodes you've listened to.

As a first step we'd recommend running a clean reinstall of the app on your device. Follow exactly the device specific steps in this Spotify Answer.
