Hey everybody, I hope you all are doing well.

Lately I've been having an issue while recording voice messages and playing Spotify at the same time. What will happen is that whenever I try to record anything, the music will stop BUT the audio won't record, so I have to close the app or manually pause the music in order of being able to record the message. I hope you can help me find a solution. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for reaching out to us about this - we'll be glad to help you out here.

Make sure no battery optimization settings or data cleaning apps run active on your iOS device while trying this - such features can often prevent the app from operating at full capacity. We also suggest accessing the app settings and making sure all Permissions are enabled for Spotify.

If this doesn't help, try a clean reinstall of the Spotify app. This will remove any corrupted data from previous installations that could be causing what you experience.
