Can't change picture on my Spotify playlists anymore

Hello! I used to be able to change the pictures and edit the descriptions on my Spotify playlists on iOS. (Picture for example below).

Now I am suddenly unable to do this. I'm not sure if it's because of a recent iOS update, a recent Spotify update, etc. I've tried to delete and reinstall the app, clear the cache, or see if I missed an update and nothing has helped. The only thing I can do now is change the name of my playlists and I'm not sure what I can do. Is anyone able to help out?

Spotify is working constantly on making improvements to the app, which is why sometimes features change. There's more information about that here: https://support.spotify.com/article/why-am-i-seeing-different-features-than-my-friends/.

For now, you can follow these steps to change the cover of your playlists using the desktop app: https://support.spotify.com/article/personalize-playlists/. Let me know if you have any questions!

I’m in the same boat, it won’t allow me to change the album cover any more , what’s the point in paying a premium for something that doesn’t work?

also the steps the person sent you don’t resolve anything, when we go to edit and change image the button domes work

Thanks for the reply. Editing these things on iPhone should now be possible again. What exactly do you see on your end? Consider performing a clean reinstall and see if the app resyncs properly.
