Plan

Premium

Country

Austria

Device

iPhone Xs

Operating System

iOS 14.4

My Question or Issue

Songs just stop playing randomly. The queue plays normaly and suddenly the music just stops. This happens a lot recently. The music not only pauses, it completely stops. So no song in the "now playing bar". Also often times I just can't start streaming music. I click on songs in my library and nothing happens! Internet is stable though. This is really annoying and honeslty incredible that the most basic "feature" doesn't work! This has been going on for at least 4 months.

And please don't come with "have you tried reinstalling the app" and so on, yes I have.

Would be nice if I could reliably make use of my paid service. Thank you

Hi @Bugejo ,

Thanks for reaching out to the Spotify community!

Sorry to hear about the issues you have been facing, I will try my best to resolve this issue for you.

Firstly, may I ask that by 'reinstall', does this mean you have been able to do a 'clean reinstall' also?
Most issues can be resolved with a quick reinstall (which is popular among users), but in some situations a more thorough reinstall is required, called a clean reinstall. This also clear's the devices cache (among other things) that a normal reinstall does not cover.

May I ask you to first try this (if you haven't already)?

If this doesn't work, I also then suggest (from personal experience) "Logging out Everywhere", as this also helps the app refresh. You can find the instructions for that on the official link.

Let me know how this goes!

I am happy to assist you further if this is not successful.

Kind Regards,

BK 😄
