Local files not downloading

My Question or Issue

When I try to add anything to a playlist from my local files on my computer it will show on my mobile device but won’t download. I’ve done everything to try and fix it such as reinstalling spotify on both devices, signing out, disabling firewall, and so on. It will never download sometimes I get the waiting to download under the music if I am on cellular but when I connect back to my WiFi it disappears. I don’t know what to do.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

Some routers don't support or block certain protocols necessary for the successful sharing of local files across devices. Can you try the following:

Delete the local files playlist on your PC
Disconnect both devices from WiFi
Create a Mobile Hotspot from your phone and connect both the phone and PC to that network
Reupload the local files on your computer and try downloading them on your phone
