Local File Syncing Problem

2019 Macbook Pro to iPhone SE

Macbook: Big Sur 11.4, iPhone IOS 14.6

(iOS 10, Android Oreo, Windows 10,etc.)

I am trying to move local files I have on my computer to my phone but under the local files part of settings on my iPhone it says there is no devices that are currently available for syncing. I've bee using the same network and when that wouldn't work I used my phone as a hotspot for my computer and it still wouldn't show up in the local file section. Any idea on what's causing this and what I can do for them to sync?

I figured out my problem it was in the IOS setting, I had not given Spotify access to my local network

Thank-you so much for this! I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out what was going on.
