Iphone 12 pro ios 14.4.2

I am having an issue whereby autoplay won't work. If I search a song using the search bar when the song ends the music stops playing. It I press skip it just reverts back to the start of the same song. Autoplay is selected from settings. Repeat is off. However autoplay doesn't seem to work ever. Have clean re-installed spotify app and issue persists

Just to be sure, have you followed the steps that's provided in this article?

Another useful step to try is to perform a clean reinstall of the app. This will make sure there's no old cache files causing this.
