Hey 🙂

I think this behaviour is maybe intentional to prevent you from plugging in an iPod which does not belong to you and then transfering all of the music off it using Spotify. The Spotify client has the ability to sync tracks which you own (on your hard drive) to your iPod, but I do not think it has the functionality to go the other way (transfer from iPod to Spotify).

If you have music in iTunes which you wish to import into Spotify, you can easily to that either by selecting the appropriate sources in Edit > Preferences > Local Files .

I cannot get my music to load from my iPod to my Spotify. I have an old iPod. 30GB. First I tried telling it to back up and then sync. That didn't work. Then I just said don't back it up and it still did not load anything onto my Spotify lists, although this time it did erase my iPod. I can probably reload my iPod from iTunes, but seem to be having trouble syncing that list back on to my iPod at this time too....ArGHHHH....

Can anyone offer any insight into what is happening here?

Thanks,
