Block Spotify from CarPlay

I'm trying to figure out how to delete the Spotify app from showing up in CarPlay.

Basically, any time I plug in any iPhone into my CarPlay system, I don't want Spotify to be enabled.

I have a new teenage driver and this would be a huge distraction for her (not just from her phone, but when her friends' phones are plugged into my car as well.)

Any ideas? Thanks!!

You can remove icons on CarPlay Home following these specific steps.

If those don't do the trick, we suggest that you reach out directly to Apple's Customer Service for more info about this.
