My Question or Issue

Out of the blue, after playing one song on any playlist, Spotify switches to songs in a similar genre not on the playlist. Same if I hit forward - it switches from the selected playlist. Recent update to iOS 14.8.1 (related?)

I recently bought new phone and it's music player is ... Not good... And as I can not install S music I am trying this music player.

So far I'm really impressed. The attention to detail is incredible. So far it is really good. The only problem is that the notification bar is really glitched out. When I start a song it will appear and then instantly disappear from notifications. If I close the app it sometimes reappears but mostly not. It seems that when I use the media buttons on my BT headset it shows the notification bar but even there are some inconsistencies.

This happens no matter which of the notification bar style is selected.

@ilanadecker Could you try logging out from everywhere with these steps? Then you can also restart your device and log back in again to see if anything changes.

If that doesn't make a difference, you can send us a video recording of what you're seeing. We'll look into this further.

@Corwin2 It sounds like you might be experiencing something else. In order to avoid confusion, feel free to create a new thread in the relevant Help Board. You can also send us screenshots of what you're seeing so we can investigate this further.
