MacOS Devices not showing up on iOS App

iOS Spotify version 8.6.84

My Question or Issue

Hi All,

MacOS devices running Spotify are not showing up on iOS Spotify app.

I've tried all the troubleshooting steps I could find in this forum. I've disabled re-enabled Spotify's access to the Location Network to no avail. The only time I see a MacOS device on my iPhone Spotify app is when I select that MacOS device within the MacOS Spotify application , then that device shows up on my iPhone Spotify app. However, if I connect to the iPhone then the MacOS device stops showing up on my iPhone Spotify app.

I've double checked my iPhone and MacOS devices are on the same WiFi network. This appears to be an iOS issue because I see the iPhone device and other MacOS devices on my MacOS Spotify application. EG. My iPhone and Mac Mini show up on MacBook Spotify application. This is reproducing consistently only on iOS app. MacOS devices running Spotify are not showing up on my iPhone Spotify app. Is anyone else seeing this issue? Thanks

It’s looks like the way to workaround this issue is to turn off “Show local devices only”! Both my MacOS devices are showing up in the list of devices! Yay!!
