iOS 15.5 Podcasts Won’t Play

My Question or Issue

I updated both of these devices to iOS 15.5 last night. Ever since, I cannot play any podcasts. I press play but they never start actually playing. Music works fine. Podcasts still work on the Xbox app. This must be a bug or something. I restarted both devices and deleted/reinstalled the Spotify app on both, to no avail.

edit - it seems that the issue is limited to 2 podcasts. Others seem to work fine.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

You mentioned the issue is isolated to particular podcasts only, Could you share links to them?

It is also worth trying a different account on the affected devices to find out if this is related to your account. How did that go? Try a different internet connection aswell.

On another note, are you trying to play the podcasts directly on the iOS devices or you play them through Connect on another device?
