iOS - Music is randomly pausing

My Question or Issue

Hi there! I'm new to posting a topic so go easy on me! 🙂

Over the past couple of days my music has been randomly stopping. I use Release Radar quite often and I will start a song on the playlist. After getting through that first song, the app will continue onto the next song and play for roughly 5-6 seconds. Then the music will stop playing but the play button appears to still be in play mode as opposed to pause. If I pause the song and press play again, nothing happens. The only way to get this resolved is to start a different playlist entirely or force close the app, reopen, and start the playlist again.

I have this same issue and i have same phone XR. I would really like to know what is the reason for this.

Thank you for your post here in the Community. This seems like a odd behavior.

Can you make sure there's no old cache files causing this by following the steps here?

If the issue persists, can you let us know if this occurs while using a different device?

I appreciate your quick response on this one! I walked through the steps outlined in your link and that seems to have cleared up the issue I was experiencing. I've been playing my Release Radar this morning and have not experienced the pausing issue described in my post. I've since marked your comment as a solution to this problem. Hope that helps others that might be seeing this.
