Trouble sharing playlist

For some reason i’m having a heck of a time just simply sharing a playlist. Every time I share my playlist it gets sent as an invitation to collaborate on a playlist and that isn’t what i want.

Do you mind checking If your playlist is set to public or private? You can see how to do it here.
If you playlist is set to private it might be the reason why you are having a hard time sharing it.
You can try changing it to public and sharing the link when you click on the 3-dot menu > Share > Copy Link.

If that doesn't do it for you we will need a bit more information on what is happening exactly - you can send us a screenshot of what you see when you follow the steps above.
