App Not Shuffling Offline

My Question or Issue

I have Spotify Premium (and have had it for years) and always keep the app updated. One of the reasons I purchased Premium, was so I could download my playlists and play when I am offline. After the most recent updates, I am no longer able to Shuffle my playlists when I am offline. When I select Shuffle, it will pick a random song in the playlist and then play in order from there. So it sometimes picks the second to last song and then there are only two songs in the queue. I try to push the Shuffle button from the "Now Playing" screen but it will not activate (it turns green and then immediately greys out). The Shuffle works when I am on wifi but not when I am offline. As a Premium user, the Shuffle button is my favorite button, I always want a random assortment of my favorites. Any suggestion?

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Have you downloaded the entire playlist you want to shuffle?

It's be best if you could provide a screen recording of the experience - one for offline mode and one for online mode. This way we'll better understand what is going on on your end.

We'd also need the Spotify version you're using on your device and for you to check if this experience is the same on a different mobile device.

Just in case, could you perform a clean reinstall of the app as described here?
