App glitches with new Iphone

My Question or Issue
Now playing is not showing in app at the bottom. Also when I click on the new music bar that shows on IPhone 14 outside of the app…the music stops once the app is opened.

I also took a screen recording if needed.

I am having the same experience in iOS 16.0.1 on the iPhone 14 Pro. The track currently playing pauses when the app is opened from either the app icon or the dynamic Island. Very frustrating!

Same issue here, extremely annoying. The new “getreadywithmusic” banner is messed up too. It won’t let me scroll past it.

Likewise, with the Now Playing bug, wish I hadn't upgraded to iOS 16 at the moment, seems a bit broken with Spotify

Yep, I'm having this issue too.

iOS 16 volume slider appearing/disappearing connect

When using connect feature volume slider goes in and out. Quite serious since I accidentally touched the slider when getting phone into pocket and volume was raised to almost maximum and my son was standing just a couple of feet’s away.

Thanks for posting in the Community.

Could you share the Spotify version you're using on your phones? Have you performed a clean reinstall of the app as described here?

It'd be best to also provide a short screen recording of the issue. Just make sure to have the background refresh enabled for Spotify beforehand, so we can exclude this as a limitation.

Looks like the issue has resolved itself. If you need the screen recording I would prefer to send it to support privately.

Not sure if the app updated or not but the version is: 8.7.66.438
