Cannot play songs continuously in 'recently played' list on iPhone

Using latest verison of app on Iphone

I used to be able to play songs one after the other in recently played.

However, now it plays ONLY the song I select, and than immediately creates a radio playlist after the song ends - instead of playing the next songs down in the recently played list.

What's the reason for this change in behaviour, and how can I get it back to playing the songs continuously?

Any help would be much appreciated! Thank you.

Hi @maxartist23!

That's correct - Recently played will play only the song that you pressed, unless several tracks are grouped - in that case it will play the only the grouped tracks. The reason a song radio comes up after is because you probably have Autoplay turned on. If it was disabled, the playback would stop once the song you pressed (or once the last song from the group) finishes playing.

Example of grouped tracks.

On desktop. you can listen to more than one song from Recently played by selecting the desired tracks by holding SHIFT (alternatively, you can select everything with CTRL + A) and adding them to the queue.

Thanks for the reply. There is no shift or control on the iPhone. Also, in my example the songs were part of a "group".

On Mobile you'd have to add the songs to the queue one by one from the 3-dot menu next to each song.

Hi there!

Can someone help? I can't seem to play JUST my "recently added" songs--it used to show up as a "playlist," like "25 top most played" or "recently played" songs but that option seems to have disappeared. I don't really want to create my own playlist where I have to keep adding the songs--it used to do it automatically and then as I added new songs, it would drop off the older songs. Does anyone have an answer to this?

There is currently no such playlist but you can view your recently played items via the history button on the top right corner of your app!
