Sound keeps cutting out for a split second

Never had this problem for many years prior, but recently I'm getting split second cut-outs in sound while playing from my iPhone. This is at home on a solid wifi connection.

Any idea what is going on here, and how to fix it?

Can you let us know if this is happening when you're playing tunes straight from your iPhone or when you're connected to a speaker over Bluetooth/ WiFi?

Does the cut happen when songs are switching or mid-song?

This is happening while playing from my iPhone, mid-song. I don't use a speaker, just these Bluetooth headphones

Thank you for keeping in contact and for the info shared.

Since the issue started recently, it could be related to some damaged cache stored on your iPhone. First, we'd recommend performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps in this article. This is often an overlooked step, but it's more thorough than a quick one and can be helpful in getting rid of any cache that might be causing trouble.

If the issue persists, would you mind checking if playing directly from your phone (without the Bluetooth headphones) makes any difference? This will give us a better look at the issue.

this seems to be ok in recent days, and hasn't happened again. i'm not sure what was causing this... i didn't do the clean re-install.
