topic Spotify keeps playing even if an audio from another app starts playing in iOS (iPhone, iPad)

Ever since I got the Iphone 13 Pro Max, I noticed this issue. If it is playing in the background and I open another app, say Instagram or TikTok, and play a video there, Spotify keeps playing and the sounds overlap. It’s quite annoying tbh.

Is there a way to fix this?

Hi there @BlackWhisper29,

Thanks for the post.

Unfortunately, there is no way to control app sound priority on iOS 16 currently. This is automatically managed by the OS for different social media apps. You can check out Apple's forums for a workaround posted by another user or support agent.

Hope this info clears things up.
