What's new in this version (0.6.3):

New: Spotify now speaks Traditional Chinese and Latin American Spanish.

Update 2013-04-15:

Known issue: For some users, the app crashes every time you play music. As a quick fix, please go to the Social page in the Settings menu and disable "Show Activity". We're busy with a proper fix right now.

It now crashes almost immediately upon launch. I've force closed, restarted the iPhone, and reinstalled the app.

I have the same problem. I installed 0.6.3 patch today, and after that the client shuts down after 3-5 sec. I have followed the trouble shooting guide, but its still the same.

You might be experiencing a known issue that's been added to the release notes:

We've sumbitted a fixed version that will hopefully come out in a few days.

It's quite anoying cause I need my spotify in my work and I pay for this..., btw. "Social activity" off did not help...

when i'm trying to search song in playlist and play the song , the app crashed.

i tried to reinstall , but no luck.

Spotify constantly crashing.

My spotify is premium and I've paid for service but since this morning my app is crashing after five seconds and closing itself. Before you ask, no my account is not being used anywhere else, that was the first thing I checked whether I'd left it open on my laptop whilst I was out. I've deleted it, re-installed it 7 times now and it's getting really tiresome. I'm running the most up to date IOS 6.1.3. Also when I'm scrolling through the whats new database, I'll select an artist and it'll play something completely different to that. I'm getting quite annoyed.

Installed your new update 0.6.3

It now crashes just as you log in....

I've tried hard reset, uninstall, hard reset, install hard reset and still it will not work.

When is the fix coming you said?

Try turning off Show Playback in social. It fixed the issue for me.
