iPhone 12 mini, OS 16.4.1, Spotify version 8.8.24.312.
I have tried every troubleshooting step i could find, including reinstalling the app.

I'm not entirely certain as to how many songs I am adding to the queue, but it is
probably more than 80. If Spotify has recently reduced the queue size then
that could explain what is happening.
I can send a video soon, yes.

I cannot listen to or see at all certain songs that I add to queue. I have no restrictions and I can listen to and see them in queue just fine on my computer. Sometimes whole albums go missing, sometimes only a certain artist is missing, sometimes just an individual song is missing. It’s really frustrating as I use Spotify so much as a part of my daily life. Please help me. It’s very bad.

Hey,

Thanks for reaching out.

As a first step, can you please let us know the following:

The model, OS version, and Spotify version of the affected device.

Have you tried any troubleshooting steps like reinstalling the app?

Is this happening when adding more that 80 tracks to the queue?

Would it be possible to send us a short video of how things look on your end? (you can attach it to your post or upload it to YouTube or Google Drive)

Looking forward to your reply.

Hi there @The_grobert,

Thanks for the reply!

Generally, adding more songs to the queue causes the app to use more RAM, so instead Spotify loads them in batches limited to up to 80 items, which preserves memory and improves the performance. But no worries - when the last item from the currently loaded batch finishes playing, another one would load and play as normal.

It's important to note that in order to maintain optimal performance, the batches may be overridden if you exceed the 80-item limit when queuing stuff. For example, let's say you manually queue a playlist with 100 tracks: 80 of them will be loaded instantly in the Next in queue section (current batch), while the remaining 20 will be loaded as soon as the last song from Next in queue finishes playing. If you were to queue a second playlist before the last song from the current batch is over, the new playlist would override the remaining 20 songs.

Hope this clears things up. In case you meant something else, please share a short screen recording which captures the app's behavior in action - that way we can get a clear idea of what you were referring to.

Cheers!
