Playing queue being changed automatically after pause/play action

Hi,

I'm using Spotify 3.3.0 on iOS 8.3, iPhone.

I recentlly found that the playing queue would be changed automatically when I pause then play again on iPhone.

It seems like if you pause then play again, some how the way you play an album will be changed form in-order-play to shuffle-play.

This didn't happen for previous releases.

Please help, thanks!

Hi,

I have this same issue on Samsung S22 Ultra / Android 13 / Spotify 8.8.28.409.

Every time I pause my music in a playlist for longer then 10 minutes or so, when I press play the queue has changed back to the 82nd song. If I do not pause, the playlist queue is the playlist. This is absolutely horrible. If I get in my car, it plays the song that was paused then returns to the 82nd song. Then I have to scroll through the playlist to where I was to continue. I do not have any Shuffle settings on. Attached is 3 images, 2 at 11:59 with the current song paused and queue, 1 at 12:10 with the new queue.

Please fix this as this is the dumbest issue I have found on a Music player ever.

Thanks for reaching out.

We've tested this on our, however, we couldn't reproduce the issue. As a first step, can you please check your phone's settings and make sure that Spotify's cache isn't cleared by some memory-optimizing feature?
