Offline playlists still using data on mobile device

I've made some playlists available offline on my iPhone, I have limited data 750MB per month and I thought that by making playlists available offline no data would have to be used.

I'm halfway through the month and all my data is used up, I'm hardly on the intenet but listen to Spotify loads (though only the offline playlists). If I'm not connected to wi-fi and say, on 3G will the offline playlists still use the 3G to play and so still use up loads of my data?

How do I get it so that even when internet is available the playlists don't use up any of that internet?

Try forcing the app into offline mode in the settings menu. That should stop it connecting to the internet at all.

I have spotify in offline mode and only play offline playlists but it is still using mobile data, help!
