App crashes when viewing canvas

My Question or Issue

App is crashing when opening the canvas for my band’s new song https://open.spotify.com/track/4AHCL3gDungkzad4KpWnRN?si=659aF7dcQsmRJRoLFodVzw

Doesn’t happen on androids or when canvas is disabled on settings. I’m concerned this will affect our numbers as our single just released and people can’t listen to it without crashing.

It also happens when opening the share sheets when canvas is enabled. I’m guessing this is because the canvas is loaded to put in the background of the share image.

I have the same issue with another specific song. I disabled the canvas and the app is still crashing.

I'm having the same issue with my single, released today. It streams okay when not viewing the canvas video. But when Canvas is displayed, the audio distorts for a second followed by the app crashing. Clearing the app cache doesn't help. Tested on two different model iPhones and had the same issue.

It happening to ours now - it’s really stressing me out cause I can’t promote the single if it crashes immediately.

This needs to get sorted immediately - it’s not registering them on spotify for artists either.

Hi Yordan!

Just checking in to see if there is an update on this. I released a song last Thursday and have had many people say that not only is the single crashing their spotify when they go to view the canvas but it’s also crashing every time they try to share the song to Instagram which is obviously a major issue in terms of organic reach for the song during the pivotal release moment!

Any updates would be much appreciated! Thanks so much for your help.

song screen crashes app

I thought it was just one song. But when I try to open the screen with the full screen album art/video clips on my iphone, it crashes. or, if I make it to that screen and then attempt to skip to another song, it crashes. if I want tio listen to music on spotify on my iphone, I have to keep it asthe bottom ribbon player.
