Genre filter is missing in liked songs playlist.

I'm not sure if it was from an update, or this feature is no longer available, but the genre filter is missing from my liked songs playlist. In fact, there are no filters at all anymore. How can I sort my liked songs by genre?

For now, as far as I know. The best solution is to create playlists for the genre you want to listen to.

You can also use the Radio option for singers/artists or playlists to play random similar songs.

Basically the title. The genres at the top of the Liked Songs playlist have disappeared for me. I tried a clean reinstall of the app and still gone. I'm on version 8.8.54.481 of the Android app.

Hi, my genres in liked songs are not showing up, I can only sort by artists, songs, recently added etc. and search. But searching is broken too, as when I scroll down, it doesn't show up songs when typed, or shows only limited amount, based on how far I scroll. When I scroll up again, then there is no problem

Thanks for posting in the Community.

The genres selection in the Liked songs collection was an exploratory feature. We hope to see it implemented for all users some day.

Could you elaborate more on your experience with the Search? A short screen recording would do wonders.

Why is the search bar and genre selector gone from liked songs? I was so excited when the genre sort was added as I use my liked songs and an organizer before I make playlists. This is possibly the worst change aside from not showing liked songs with a heart I have ever seen on any application. I am incredibly disappointed with both these decisions.

That SUCKS the liked by genres filter was a powerful feature, way cooler than their annoying ai dj thing.. wth Spotify bring back this feature! What am I even paying for?! It’s clearly not to support the artists…..

Well that was crappy to explore it and take it away! It was a great feature and it needs to come back! For what I pay for premium that feature alone kinda made it worth it!
