Song keeps cutting

My Question or Issue

I’ve tried googling this exact issue and it keeps saying it’s a network issue but it’s only one specific song, there’s this one Chinese song called 要不然我们就这样一万年 and it’s one of my favourite songs. I’ve had no issue with it up till about a week or two ago. When I’d listen to the song it would cut out at certain parts and skip to a different part of the song, making it almost impossible to listen to it. So every time that song comes up in my playlist I just skip it. I just listened to it a few minutes ago and this time, it still had cuts, however it was a significantly less amount than before. It’s only been this song as well. Does anyone have any idea why? Should I just wait longer and see if it goes back to normal? It was never like this at first and I’ve had Spotify for about a month now. Then it started cutting like 8-10 times each time I played it. Left it alone and now it’s cutting like 2-5 times per play.

Have you already tried any troubleshooting? If so, can you let me know which one you already tried?

If not, I'd suggest you perform a clean reinstall of the app by following these steps. This process might help you get rid of any cache that might be causing issues on your Spotify.
