Can't like songs

I am having an issue where I can’t like songs. I have an iPhone 15 and honestly didn’t realize I can’t like songs until my friends told me about it. I am on a student plan I’m not sure if that makes a difference? But please let me know. I alrdy tried reinstalling Spotify and logging out

When you say that you cannot like songs - do you get an error when you try to like them or do they just not show up in your Liked Songs playlist?

We're currently not aware of any app issues that would prevent folks from liking songs on iOS.
There are also no reports about this on the forum which leads me to believe this is an isolated issue. If this is not the case and, as you've mentioned - you know people who are seeing this app behaviour, it's a good idea to let them know to reply in this thread as well.

As for the issue itself, we can try some troubleshooting first - check if removing the app's cached data would make a difference.
If it doesn't we can take things a step further and go for a complete clean reinstall of the app instead.

Should the issue persist, let us know what iOS version you have on your iPhone 15, as well as your Spotify app version.
